About Us

Ibukun’s love for delectable cakes inspired her to start Bkay’s Sweet Indulgence (BSI), a home-based cake business in Alberta, in 2020. CakeStacks by BSI, her line of cake-in-a-jar, was motivated by her desire for anyone to be able to taste her beautifully curated cakes whenever they choose, rather than waiting for a birthday celebration or a wedding ceremony. CakeStacks are not your average layered cake-in-a-jar. Each cake is a meticulously crafted, southern-styled, and flavourful masterpiece that will leave you craving for more.

Custom & Wedding Cakes

Our custom cakes are covered in either buttercream or ganache and are decorated appropriately to match your event's theme. Please send an email to bkayssweetindulgence@gmail.com with the details of your event to receive a quote. Frequently Asked Questions

How long do CakeStacks stay fresh?

CakeStacks last for 2 weeks in the fridge and 2+months in the freezer. They are best served refrigerated. If frozen, thaw in the fridge for a few hours before serving. CakeStacks contain dairy and must be refrigerated if not eaten within a few hours of picking up or delivery.

Are CakeStacks Vegan?

No, CakeStacks are not vegan.

Can my order be customized?

Not yet, but we are still working on providing this option.

Can I travel with my CakeStacks Jars?

Yes, you may travel with your CakeStacks. It is best to freeze them before traveling and bring ice packs to keep your CakeStacks jars cool.

Do you make wedding, birthday or other celebration cakes?

Yes, we do! Please contact Ibukun at 306-514-1105 for your wedding, birthday or other celebration cake. We require at least 2 months notice for a wedding cake and 2 weeks notice for a birthday cake.

Policies

Order Processing

Please allow up to 3 days to process your order. You will receive a notification once your order is ready!

Local Pick-Up

You can choose to pick up your order on Tuesdays, Fridays or Saturdays. If you need to pick up your order outside these available days, please send us a message before placing your order.

Local Delivery

Delivery is only available in South Edmonton for a flat rate of $10. If you require delivery outside the south zone, please contact us before placing your order. Delivery to other surrounding areas will incur an extra charge.

Refunds

CakeStacks are non-refundable. If you have any issues with your order, please send us an email at bkayssweetindulgence@gmail.com

Cancellation Policy

CakeStacks orders may be canceled no later than 4 days before pick up. Every canceled order is subjected to a 25% processing fee. This does not apply to our Custom/Wedding cakes which involve a contract with different terms and conditions.
